RYA Marine Radio Short Range (VHF) Online Course

This course is for anyone who owns a Marine VHF Fixed or Handheld set. The Marine VHF Radio is an important piece of safety equipment onboard, understanding the correct procedures when operating the VHF Radio is vital and could save you or your crews’ lives.
After you have completed the online course, you are now ready to take the RYA Short Range Certificate exam. This is taken at a RYA Training Centre that runs the RYA Short Range Certificate courses, the RYA fee for the exam is GBP60 payable to the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) on the day of your exam.
IMPORTANT: Although the RYA VHF licence is recognized in many countries its not recognized in Hong Kong. Hong Kong have their own local VHF certification.
