Sirocco

This Bavaria 47 is the larger, more traditionally designed of our two yachts and is very well equipped including 240V, air-conditioning, electric winches and a full suite of electronics (full details below).  She is ideal for longer overnight trips for couples to families.  Due to her length she can get around Hong Kong waters quickly to enable even the furthest reaches to be explored.  Although a large yacht, she has been setup to be sailed with a minimal crew and can even be sailed single handed.

Above decks Sirocco has the following equipment:

  • Large and comfortable cockpit with soft seating in the evening
  • Large table for dining alfresco
  • Twin steering wheels for comfort and to enable easy access to the stern swimming ladder
  • Aft opening cockpit for easy swimming
  • Aft shower to clean off the salt water after swimming
  • Electric anchor windlass
  • Electric primary winches for the head-sail and furling the sail

Below decks Sirocco has the following facilities:

  • Sleeps 6 in 3 cabins.  Ideal for a couple or two couples or a family of up the 5 but 6 also works  [Note: instructor/skipper has a bed in the saloon]

  • Fans in all cabins and saloon

  • Air-conditioning (when on shore-power or short duration when using generator)
